Let's be honest. Working in a cube isn't for sissies.
Experts say that, once distracted, it takes approximately 15 minutes for a person's brain to readjust and get back on task. In a cube, unless you work under a dome of silence (or your company has installed pink noise systems) you're working in a state of constant distraction.
If you're a cube lifer, you know what I mean. Working in a cube is like watching a TV to which you don't have the remote - and someone you can only hear but not see (unless you're prairie doggin...) keeps changing the channels.
Why Cubicle Fairy?
Everyone needs a gentle reminder every once in a while that they need to think about the working environment they're creating with the noises they're making. ;)
